Jang Keun-Suk (장근석, romanization: Jang Geun Seok) is a South Korean actor, singer and model. He is best known for playing the role of band leader Hwang Tae Kyung in the hit 2009 drama You're Beautiful. His latest role was that of Kang Mu Gyul in the 2010 romantic comedy series Mary Stayed Out All Night, with Moon Geun Young.

Jang Geun-Suk was born on August 4, 1987 in Danyang Country, Chungcheongbuk Province, South Korea. He is an only child. Geun-Suk started working as a child model at the age of five after he was discovered by a talent agent. At that time, Keun-Suk's parents were selling their house and the agent, who was a prospective buyer, saw Geun-Suk. Seeing his potential, the agent advised Keun-Suk's parents to allow him to try a career in modeling.

 Jang Keun-Suk made his acting debut in the 1997 HBS sitcom "Selling Happiness" (Haengbokeul Pabmoda). He then continued to work in television as a child actor. In middle school, Geun-Suk heard the music of Japanese pop singer Ken Hirai & Japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel. He was inspired enough by these bands to start learning Japanese by himself. 

In junior high school, Keun-Suk went to school in New Zealand to learn English and Japanese. Because of his studies in New Zealand, he can carry casual conversations in both languages. Even though Keun-Suk wanted to continue his studies in New Zealand, a job offer brought him back to South Korea, a role in the popular MBC sitcom Nonstop 4. After his work in Nonstop 4, Keun-Suk fell into a self-perceived slump and didn't think his acting was good enough. He decided then to re-devote himself to becoming a true actor. In 2005, Geun Seok's portrayal of the president's son in the SBS drama "Lovers In Prague" became a hit and was well regarded by drama fans.

In 2006, Keun-Suk made the jump to the big screen in the Japanese horror film One Missed Call: Final where he played the role of a deaf boy. Using his past experience with the Japanese language, Keun-Suk was able to communicate with his Japanese co-stars with ease. He also learned sign language in preparation for his role. 

 Back on the small screen, he next played the role of Kim Eun-ho, Hwang Jin-yi's first love in the TV drama Hwang Jin-i. Geun-Suk's performance gained the attention of many female fans. He also starred in the KBS drama, Hong Gil Dong, as Prince Lee Changhwi. In 2007, Geun-Suk was cast in the rock music themed film "The Happy Life." His portrayal of Hyeon-ju in "The Happy Life" allowed Keun-Suk to show off his masculine charms, as well as display his skills as a singer. Geun-Suk would go on to play in two more music inspired titles in 2008, with the feature film Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do and the hit MBC TV drama Beethoven Virus.

Pasangan Artis Korea yang mana menurut kalian yang paling cocok??, dan kayanya kalo mereka jadian di dunia nyata kira-kira, pasangan mana sih yang paling paling paling kalian setuju?...
okay deh langsung aja yang ini dia pasangan pasangan selebritis korea yang menurut gw paling cocok dan dan gw setuju banget kalo mereka jadian hihiihih.

1. Lee min hoo & Go hye sun

               Pasangan pertama ada Lee min hoo & Go hye sun... hmmm kalian yang pernah nonton boys before flowers pasti tau dong gimana akting-akting mereka berdua??? Di drama tersebut mereka bermain lumayan apik... apalagi Lee min hoo yang bermain sebagai sosok yang arogan tetapi agak hihiih takut di gampar LMH :P. Go hye sun juga memerankan cewe tertindas tetapi tetap tegar membuat saya menonton drama ini ber ulang2 hihihi. (* sebenernya gak niat nonton sih cuman disiarin terus tuh di stasiun tvnya hehehhe. tapi berterimakasih banget karena ada stasiun tv yang nyiarin acara drama asia :)))) (* halah curcol kemana2 neh... balik lagi... nah kira-kira kalian setuju gak sih kalo mereka jadian di dunia nyata hmmm.... kalo yang bilang setuju berarti udah pasrah neh wkwkkwk. tapi kalo menurut gw mereka acocok2 aja... gmana menurut kalian??

2. kim hyun joong & Jung so min

                       Yang kedua ada kim hyun joong & Jung so min... yang satu cantik, imut, manis, sexy, dan yang satunya lagi... heheh gak berani bilang ganteung ah... kalian aja yang bilang, secara g cowo wkwkkwkwk. nah kalo mereka dipasangkan di drama FlayFull Kiss... Jung so min memerankan perannya cukup baik lah menurut gw... kalo Kim Hyun joong mungkin karena di drama boys before flowers dia juga memerankan sesosok yang sangat cool abis, jadi kayanya gak ada perubahan deh... sekali2 berperan jadi cowo periang ke... hihihii gimana jadinya ya???? !@#$%^&*()_+)@@!#@!@$@#  membanyangkan mode on. tapi mereka cukup serasi di film itu...

3. Yoona SNSD &  Choi Siwon Super Junior

                      pasangan berikutnya ada yoona SNSD &  Choi Siwon Super Junior, hmmm g belum pernah melihat mereka di drama korea dipasangkan bersama-sama, tetapi gw sering liat mereka saat mereka pemotretan wkwkkwk sotoooooyyyyyyy.... kalo liat foto2 mereka berdua apagimana gitu.... cuocok banget.... hihiihiih. tapi kira2 yoona termasuk kriteria kaka saya yang satu ini gak yah? secara kriteria hyung gak bisa di ganggu gugat.... hmmmmm sama lah prinsip kita hyung wkwkkwkwk. seiman dan takut Tuhan numb 1.... kalo urusan cantik itumah bonus iya gak wkwkkwkwk. nah kira2 menurut kalian setuju gak sih kalo mereka berdua jadian wkwkkwkwk..... siap2  patah hati neh para penggemar mereka hohoohooh.

4. Han Hyoo Joo & Lee Seung Gi

                         ini nih pasangan yang paling cocok menurut saya diantara smua pasangan yang ada siapa lagi kalo bukan Han Hyoo Joo & Lee Seung Gi.... walaupun hati terasa agak sakit oooohhhh HYJ kenapa kau memeilih sodara kembar saya wkwkkwkw digampar LSG gw.... hihiihihiih...... walaupun mereka baru pertama kali di pasangkan dalam sebuagh drama korea berjudul briliant legacy.... tetapi chemistrynya dapet bangaet huhuuhuhu.... g ngefans sama mereka... sampe2 gw nonton dramanya mungkin ada 15 kali hahhahah lebay.... tapi beneran  seru dramanya.... belum ada yang bisa ngalahin :P

5. Jang geun suk & Moon geun young

                    Terakhir ada Jang geun suk & Moon geun young, gw bwlum melihat akting mereka sih.... belum belanja dvd lagi wkwkkwkw.... tapi pengen tau aja dari kalian cocok gak sih mereka??? because alah so inggris.... soalnya Moon geun young di drama cinderela's Sister memerankan seorang yang mnyebalkan sombong abis gila.... kalo dipasankan dengan Jang geun suk yang cool abis jadinya gmana yah huhuuhuuh.... penasaran pengen liat hihiihiih.

nah itu dia deretan2 artis yang menurut gw cocok kalo jadi pasangan sungguhan lah ilah.... kalo menurut kalian mana sih yang paling cocok.... Vote dibawah sini ya..... :)))))

[Aktor & Singer Korea] Jang Geun Suk - Release Music Video (MV) - Let Me Cry

Earlier, Jang Geun Suk gave fans a sneak peak from the set of his upcoming debut Japanese single, "Let Me Cry". It appears the wait was rather short, as the PV for "Let Me Cry" has just been released! 

Jang Geun Suk put together a fantastically agonized performance of his newest rock track, with plenty of dark makeup and smoldering glances to spare. It's a sparse, minimalistic affair as PVs go, with the camera cutting between a "band" performance and solo takes. Perhaps that's for the better, as it allows viewers to better appreciate Jang Geun Suk's vocal ability than be distracted by a storyline or actors.

I think Jang geun suk just an actor, but he was also a singer too. he actually has a pretty good voice.
